| I have worked in the field of emotional health and wellbeing for 15 years originally training as an assertiveness trainer and Humanistic and Integretive Counsellor.
After feeling limited by the above approaches for some years, I retrained as a Solution Focused Therapist and Hypnotherapist when I personally experienced many positive shifts and improvements using these therapies. Some years later,after discovering EFT and using this on myself and then working with a practitioner, I started to make significant changes in areas that I had been unable to improve upon and which I had been working on for years. I am convinced that making changes 'energetically' enabled me to move forward in a way that I had been unable to before. EFT provided the missing link for me and was the approach I had been looking for for years. I trained as an EFT Practitioner and have reached Advanced Level (3). I also trained with Karl Dawson as a Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner in February 2011. I run a private practice in North London and also do freelance work which includes working one day a week in a North London secondary school providing counselling support to students dealing with stress and anxiety. I hold a current fully Enhanced CRB Check. My interest, experience and expertise is working with emotional distress particularly in the areas of trauma, low self esteem and confidence, depression and anxiety related issues. For the last 10 years I have also worked with 2 Family charities - Parentline Plus (now Family Lives) and Coram working as a counsellor and parenting group facilitator and am experienced in many issues around parenting, relationships and family life. I am a parent myself. |
