We frequently update our glossary with terms that may be used in our products and in our industry in general.

• Departments

  A Department is also known as a Workgroup within the Helpdesk Software. 

  I think that originally it was called a department, and then the functionality of the system was increased and they decided to call it workgroups instead. 

• Grandfathering

  Grandfathering is the process whereby people who have been trained outside the AAMET training structure can apply to become a registered AAMET Practitioner or Trainer.

• Workgroup
