What qualifications do I need?
Answer
To be listed on the website as an AAMET EFT Practitioner, AAMET expects members to have undertaken a minimum level of training and mentoring in line with all similar professional associations. For instance, EFT Practitioner members listed on this site will have trained with an AAMET approved Trainer and will be in possession of a Practitioner certificate. To retain their certificate, they will also have signed up to mandatory continuous personal/professional development as well as mentoring. Their Trainer will periodically ask for evidence of this.
If you're interested in progressing towards Advanced or Trainer level, please look under FAQs under the appropriate heading.
Although AAMET recognises that distance learning has its merits for self development, we agree that a certain amount of practical as well as theoretical instruction is absolutely essential before a student can accepted as an AAMET Practitioner member. Therefore we invite anyone who holds a certificate in a distance learned programme to join as AAMET Students until they have completed their practical "hands on" tuition. A training package is being designed to give students with a distance learned certificate the opportunity to complete their full practical training with an AAMET approved Trainer.
